Give an Hour in Shropshire

As part of the national ‘Give an Hour’ Campaign the Get Shropshire Online Project promoted various activities.

Skype
For many people, the ability to keep in touch is one of the obvious benefits of being on line. Millions of emails are sent and received every day. The ability to use Skype adds a whole new dimension for some people as being able to see a person via web cam when they are millions of miles away can be an amazing experience.

Online Safety
Taking Part is an organisation which provides advocacy, information, advice and guidance for adults with learning difficulties. We worked with them on a programme of workshops specifically promoting online safety. Read their full report here shortly.
